Safe Nest

Safe Nest

The Advertising Community Talent Show has raised almost $265,000 for Safe Nest over the last 18 years. We are proud to support this needed organization that is striving to create a world where domestic violence is not tolerated.

The mission at Safe Nest is simple: To be the leading advocate in promoting the eradication of domestic violence by providing confidential assistance including shelter, food, clothing, counseling, education and other services to individuals experiencing domestic violence, while maintaining the highest respect and dignity for our clients.

Established in 1977, Safe Nest is Clark County’s largest and most comprehensive agency devoted solely to domestic violence issues. Services include shelters in confidential locations, a 24-hour Crisis Hotline, counseling, victim advocacy, prevention and community education.

Safe Nest provides services for battered women, men, adolescents and children. Over 300,000 men, women and children have been assisted by Safe Nest since 1978. 70 percent of children in Safe Nest’s shelter are preschool age or younger. 80 percent of women sheltered are young mothers in their 20s and early 30s

Do you need assistance?

Safe Nest operates a 24-hour Crisis Hotline where trained professionals and volunteers assist callers with crisis intervention, ranging from safety planning to protection orders and obtaining safe shelter. You do not need to be ready to take action when you call the hotline. Hotline workers can help you explore options, provide referrals and just lend an ear. You may call “just to talk” about your situation or to get more information.
